Mahavir Salon

Mahavir Salon is located at 112/1 Beliaghata Main Road, which is a part of town that never really seems to sleep. The road is constantly filled with cars and buses, so there is always a layer of dust on the windows that we have to wipe down every morning. The shop is a simple room with some tiled walls and big mirrors that reflect the street life outside. We have a couple of chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years, and the leather is starting to show its age. It’s a place where you can come in, get a quick shave or a haircut, and be back on the road in no time. We don't have any air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that spins fast to keep the heat away. The floor is usually covered in bits of hair by the afternoon, and we keep a broom handy to stay on top of the mess. Most of our customers are folks who live right here in the Beliaghata area and have been coming to us for years. They know us by name, and we know exactly how they like their hair done without them having to say much at all. It is a humble setup, but it works for us and for the people who live around here. We just show up, open the door, and start our work for the day.
