Maharaj Carpets

We are located at 103 Park Street. Park Street is a famous place, and we’ve been part of this street for many years now. Our shop is where we keep all our carpets. We have all kinds, from the very detailed ones to the more basic rugs for everyday use. It’s a big job keeping everything organized because carpets are heavy and take up a lot of room. We don't have a fancy sales pitch or anything like that. We just let people walk around and look at the different piles. If they want to see something at the bottom of the stack, we roll our sleeves up and move the others out of the way. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. The shop has a certain smell to it—wool and old textiles—which we’ve grown to like over the years. We’ve seen the street change a lot, with new shops coming and going, but we’ve stayed right here. We don't have a corporate office or a big management team. It’s just us and the carpets. People come in from all over the city because they know Park Street is the place to go. We just try to give them the right information without making things too complicated. It’s a straightforward business, and we plan to keep it that way for a long time. It’s just how we operate.
