Madhumita'S Boutique

We are located in the No. 4 D Aashiyana Apartment building near Balia More in Garia. Since we are in an apartment complex, it feels a bit more personal than a shop on the main road. Garia is always moving, and Balia More is usually stuck with traffic, but once you get inside the building, it’s much quieter. We use the space to handle all our boutique work. It is a mix of a workshop and a place where we keep our finished items. We have been working from this Garia location for some time. The room is filled with different threads, buttons, and various fabrics. We spend a lot of time sitting and working through the details of each piece. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a big window to display things to people walking by. People usually hear about us through word of mouth or they live nearby in Garia. We like it this way because we can focus on the work without too many interruptions. Sometimes we have tea on the small balcony when we need a break from the sewing machine. The atmosphere is very relaxed. We don't try to make it look like a high-end store. It is just a workspace where we do our best to get things finished on time. It feels like a home because it basically is part of a residential building. We just keep working until the sun goes down over the apartment roofs.
