Madamme Bovary

Madamme Bovary is located at 10/21 N.C. Sengupta Sarani, right near the Mrilalini Cinema Hall. Being close to the cinema means there are always people around, which is nice. We’ve been in this spot for a good while. It is a simple place where we take care of people's hair. We don't have those big fancy setups you see in the expensive malls. It’s just a regular shop with mirrors and some chairs that have been around for years. We get a lot of locals who live in the apartments nearby. Sometimes people stop in after watching a movie at the hall. The shop is a bit small, so we have to keep things tidy as we go. We've got a little area where you can sit and wait if we're busy. We don't talk much unless the customer wants to, so it can be quite peaceful here. We just focus on the job at hand. The scissors and the spray bottles are always on the counter. We try to keep the place cool with a couple of fans, but it gets warm in the afternoons. It’s a basic life, running a shop like this. We know the routines of the street and the people who walk past every day. If you’re near the cinema and need a trim, we are just a short walk away.
