Lipstick

Our shop is called Lipstick and you can find us at 7, Maharaja Tagore Road. We are on the ground floor of the Bholagiri Ashram building. It is a very recognizable spot in Dhakuria, especially since the State Bank of India branch is right there. The area has a lot of soul, with the ashram and the daily commuters heading to the bank. Our salon is not very large, but we have tucked everything in quite well. We have the usual chairs, some sinks for washing hair, and a corner where we keep all the supplies. It feels very grounded being on the ground floor. You can see people walking by outside while you are sitting in the chair. The staff here are simple people who have a lot of experience. We do not go in for big words or fancy marketing. We just use our hands and our tools to do the work. The 700031 area is where most of us grew up or have spent a lot of time. We like the sound of the morning bells from the ashram and the busy energy of the afternoon. It is an honest place to work. We have a few regulars who have been coming to us since we first opened the doors. We do not have a big mission or anything like that. We just want to provide a decent place for people to get their hair done.
