Life Long Sales & Service is right at 123, S. P. Mukherjee Road. We are near the Rashbehari Crossing, which is always packed with people and cars. It’s a loud corner of the city, but it means everyone knows where we are. We’ve been here at this address for quite a few years. The shop isn't very big, so we have to stack things up high sometimes. It gets a bit cramped when several people come in at once. We do both sales and fixing things here. Most days are spent looking at broken parts or talking to customers over the counter. We don't have a fancy uniforms or anything. Just us in our regular clothes, trying to get the repairs done. The fans in here barely keep up with the humidity, but we’re used to it. Sometimes the tea stall next door is the best part of the afternoon. We take things as they come. If a part isn't in stock, we tell you straight. There’s no point in making things sound better than they are. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot from our front door. Even though it’s busy, we like being in the middle of it all. It’s a honest way to spend the day, just helping people with their equipment and keeping things running. When the traffic at Rashbehari Crossing is at its worst, it takes forever to get anything delivered. We just have to be patient. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city, just a reliable one where you know who you are talking to.
