Lakme Salon

Lakme Salon is over in Bangur Avenue at 117/3 in Block C. It is a fairly quiet and nice part of the city compared to some of the busier markets. We have been at this specific address for a long time now. The neighborhood is mostly houses and apartments, so we see a lot of the same people every week. It is a very steady kind of work for us. We open up the shop and see who comes in throughout the day. Even though the name on the sign is a big one, we don't really have a corporate vibe here at all. We just run the place like any other local shop in the area. The space inside is set up to be practical and useful for what we do. We have our regulars who live just a few blocks away and walk over. Sometimes it gets really busy during the holidays or when there are weddings, but most of the time it is just a normal, quiet pace. We don't use any fancy language or marketing talk to describe ourselves. We just do the work and try to be helpful to whoever walks in. Bangur Avenue is a good place to be located because it has a real community feel to it. People often stop by to chat for a minute while we are working. We just stay focused on what is right in front of us. There are no big missions or special promises here. We just keep the shop running day by day.
