We are located at Cf 128 in Sector 1 of Salt Lake, right here in Kolkata. Our place, Lakme Salon Kittu Services Pvt Ltd, is near the swimming pool. If you know Salt Lake, you know it is a bit more spaced out than the city center. We operate out of a building that looks like a regular house from the outside. We have been here for several years. Inside, we have set up different areas for the work we do. It is a bit of a maze sometimes, but we know our way around. We don’t have a big polished lobby or a receptionist in a suit. We just have a small desk where we keep the register. Most of the people who work here live in the nearby sectors. We are a small team and we have worked together for a long time. We don’t really use marketing speak or try to sound like a big company. We just open up the doors and see who comes in. Some days it is very quiet and we just sit and talk about our families. Other days we are running around until late at night. The air conditioner hums quite loudly, but it keeps the place cool during the summer months. We are just a local shop trying to do our part in the 700064 neighborhood. It is a simple life and a simple business for us.
