Kumar Samanta & Co.

Our office is right on College Street, at number 37A. If you have ever walked through this part of the city, you know how crowded it gets with students and people looking for books. It is always noisy outside, but inside here at Kumar Samanta & Co., we try to keep things a bit more organized. The space is a little cramped because we have so many files and stacks of things piled up on the desks. We have been in this spot for quite some time, and the walls probably could use a new coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to think about that right now. Most days, we are just sitting here dealing with whatever comes through the door. It is a lot of talking on the phone and writing things down by hand. We don't use a lot of fancy technology if we can help it. It is just simpler to do things the old way. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, so we tell everyone to watch their step. Sometimes when the rain starts, the whole street gets messy, but we just keep the doors open and keep working. We know the other shop owners nearby, and we usually say hello when we are arriving in the morning. It is a busy life here on College Street, and we are just another part of the daily routine for the neighborhood.
