Our office is located at 42/B Palm Avenue in Kolkata. It is a nice street with some trees and it feels a bit different from the crowded markets you see in other parts of the city. We work out of this space every day, handling whatever property questions come our way. Most of the time, it is just us sitting at the desks, looking over floor plans or checking on some legal papers for a client. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few people who know the local real estate scene. We drink a lot of tea while we talk about which flats are coming up for rent or who might be selling their old family home nearby. It is a lot of phone calls and sometimes walking over to a site to see how things look. We don't try to make things sound more complicated than they are. If someone asks us about a house, we tell them what we know about the neighborhood and the building. The office is simple, with a few cupboards for files and a calendar on the wall that we use to mark down meetings. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the documents spread out, but we eventually get everything sorted. It’s a steady pace here at 42/B, and we just keep at it day by day.
