Komannd Hospital

Living and working around Alipore Police Line means you get used to the noise. Komannd Hospital is right here in the Alipore area. I think Alipore is mentioned a couple of times in our address, which is funny if you think about it. It is a busy part of town. Every morning, the staff arrives and we start the shift. There is always someone coming or going through the front doors. We have these benches out front where people sit when they need a bit of fresh air. The hospital itself is just a regular building, nothing that stands out too much if you are just driving past. We keep the floors clean, or at least we try to, especially when it rains and everyone drags in mud from Alipore Police Line. There is a small tea stall just a few steps away where we usually go during breaks. Inside Komannd Hospital, the lights are those long tubes that flicker once in a while before they stay on. It is not a quiet place, really. You hear the trolleys moving and people talking in the corridors all day long. We have a lot of paperwork to deal with, stacks of it on the desks in the back office. It is just the daily routine for us here in Alipore. Nothing special, just keeping the place open and seeing to whoever walks in. It feels like a normal part of the day after you have been here a while.
