Kolkata Home Search is up on the 5th floor at 122A, Southern Avenue. It's a nice part of the city with all those big trees along the road. Being on the 5th floor gives us a bit of a view, though we spend most of our time looking at files and talking on the phone. The office isn't huge, but it's enough for what we do. People come up the stairs or use the lift to find us when they are looking for a house in Kolkata. It’s a bit quieter up here than it is down on the street level. We’ve been operating out of this building for a while now. Southern Avenue is a busy place, but once you get inside and come up to the 5th floor, things settle down. We aren't one of those big national companies. We just focus on what’s happening here in the city. Some days are busy with people coming in to talk about flats, and other days we are just catching up on paperwork. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know the area well. We try to keep things straightforward. No complicated talk or corporate stuff. Just a regular office where we help people find a place to live. It’s been our base for a long time, and we like the neighborhood. 122A is easy to find if you know the avenue and look for the right building.
