Kolkata Boutique

You can find us in Arvind Tower, which is at 242/1B APC Road. It's a tall building and we've been here for a good while. Kolkata Boutique is more of a workstation for us. We spend a lot of time surrounded by heaps of fabric and different measuring tapes. The location on APC Road is good because it's easy for people to find us, even if the traffic outside is usually a mess. Inside the tower, it’s a bit quieter. We aren't a big corporation with many floors. We just have our space where we get things done. Some days the piles of cloth seem like they are going to fall over, but we know where everything is. We handle a lot of different orders, some small and some a bit larger. We don't use any fancy software to track things; we mostly rely on our notebooks and memory. It’s worked for us so far. The staff is just a few local people who are good with their hands. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. Usually, we are busy with a sewing machine or packing things up. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just want to finish our work and make sure it’s done correctly before we close up for the night. Sometimes we stay late when there's a big delivery to prepare, but usually, we are out by six. It's just honest work we do here every day.
