We are very close to the 206 Bus Stand, which makes it quite easy for people to find us even if they are not from this exact block. Kolkata is a city that never really stops moving, and Salt Lake has its own specific pace of life. We have been working from this spot for a long time now. It is a ladies-only place, so women feel comfortable coming in. We do hair, skin, and some basic spa treatments as well. It is not a huge commercial space, just a comfortable house that was converted into a parlour. We have a few different rooms set up for the various things we do. Some days are very quiet and we just sit around and talk. Other days, especially during the Pujo season, it is absolutely chaotic inside. Everyone wants to look their best for the festivals and we end up working very late into the night. We do not have any kind of marketing budget at all. Most of the ladies who come here are from the nearby blocks like AJ or BJ. They might stop by after they finish their morning marketing or while they are on their way home.
