Kinnori Beauty Boutique

Our shop, Kinnori Beauty Boutique, is inside the Suncity Shopping Arcade on Bidhan Nagar Road. Specifically, we’re at Shop Number 1 on the F 2 level. Being near the Bidhan Nagar Railway Station means there is always a crowd nearby. You can hear the trains if it’s quiet enough, though it rarely is. The arcade is a busy place with lots of small shops like ours tucked away. It can be a bit of a maze if you haven't been here before, but we're easy to find once you get inside. We have a small space, but we keep it packed with all our supplies. There’s barely enough room for three people to work at once, but we manage. We get a lot of commuters who stop by on their way home from the station. They’re usually in a hurry, so we’ve learned to work fast. It’s a lot of threading, quick hair fixes, and small stuff. The air conditioning in the arcade helps a lot during May and June. We spend our breaks standing by the door watching people rush by. It’s a small life, but we like it. We’ve made good friends with the other shop owners in Suncity. We all help each other out when someone needs change or a spare lightbulb. It’s just a regular shop in a busy city, doing what we can to keep going.
