Kedia Kusum Associates

Our office is tucked away at 77 A Abinash Chandra Banerjee Lane in Kolkata. If you know this part of West Bengal, you know the streets can be pretty narrow and crowded, especially when it rains. Kedia Kusum Associates has been operating from this spot for a while. It’s an old building with a lot of character, maybe too much sometimes when the walls need a bit of paint. We spend our days here handling paperwork and talking to people who drop by. The fans overhead hum all day long to keep the humidity away, which is just part of living in Kolkata. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s mostly just desks, files, and a few chairs for guests. Usually, we're just focused on getting the accounts or whatever needs doing finished before the sun goes down. People in the lane know each other well, so there’s always someone stopping to chat near the entrance. It can get quite loud with the street noises and the vendors calling out, but that’s just how it is here. We like the local feel of the place. It’s not a sterile environment; it’s a working office where real stuff happens every day. Sometimes we stay late when there's a lot to catch up on, but we mostly stick to the usual hours. It works for us and we just keep going without making a big deal of it.
