We operate out of Poddar Court at Gate 2. It is on the 6th floor, specifically Room 2, at 18 Rabindra Sarani. If you have ever been to this part of Kolkata, you know how hectic it gets. There are people everywhere and the traffic on Rabindra Sarani never seems to stop. Getting up to the 6th floor can take a minute if the lifts are busy, which they usually are during the middle of the day. Once you get inside our office, it is a bit quieter, but you can still hear the city down below. We have a few desks pushed together and a lot of registers where we write things down. We do realty work, which mostly involves talking to people about where they want to live or set up a shop. It is a lot of back and forth, honestly. We don't have any flashy signs or posters. It’s mostly just us and our phones. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of paperwork to finish up before the weekend. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby stall because there are so many good places to eat around Poddar Court. We have been in this building for some time and we have gotten used to the way things move around here. It is just a regular office where we do our daily work without much fuss.
