Glamor N Jewels

Glamor N Jewels is in the Chambers Mall, at Shop 009 on the ground floor. We are right across from the Gitanjali Stadium, number 1865 on Rajdanga Main Road. Being in a mall is a bit different than being on a street corner in an old part of town. It’s more structured and clean, but we try to keep our shop feeling personal. It’s a small unit, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside. The stadium across the street brings in a lot of people when there is an event going on, so it can get pretty busy around here on weekends. We have some bright lights inside so people can see the details of the jewelry clearly. The mall has security and air conditioning, which makes it a comfortable place to work all day. We spend our time talking to customers and keeping the displays looking neat. It’s a lot of standing and walking around the small space. We have a little desk in the back where we handle the paperwork and take our lunch breaks when we can. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure everything runs smoothly for the visitors. We don’t have any fancy posters or big marketing displays on the glass. We just put our things out and let people look at them. Rajdanga Main Road is a busy area, but once you step inside the mall, it gets a bit quieter. It works for us.
