Kanahi Salon

If you head down to Jagat Pur Bazar, you’ll find Kanahi Salon on the ground floor. Being right in the middle of the bazar means it’s always loud and full of life outside. We like being in the thick of it. The shop is small, but we’ve tucked everything we need into the space. We do haircuts and shaves for the men around here, and some other basic stuff too. It’s a place where people come to hear the local gossip as much as they do to get a trim. We don’t have air conditioning, just some big ceiling fans that hum all day. It gets hot, but nobody seems to mind much. We’ve been in this spot for years, and the floor tiles are a bit chipped from all the footsteps. We don’t try to be fancy or pretend we are something we aren't. We are just a local salon serving the 700159 neighborhood. Most of our customers have been coming to us since they were kids. Now they bring their own children. It makes us feel like part of the family. We don't have a website or any of those modern things. If you want to find us, you just walk into the bazar and look for the sign near the vegetable stalls. We’re usually there from morning until the market quietens down at night. It’s a good way to spend the day.
