Jurasa Confectionery

Jurasa Confectionery is located on B T Road at the Chunibabur Bazar area in Kolkata. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy the road gets with all the buses and cars. We are right there where people jump off the transport to grab something quick. We have mostly sweets, biscuits, and those little snack packets that kids love. There are also cakes and some savory bits for the evening tea time. It is a small shop, but we try to keep the shelves full. In the mornings, we get fresh bread and some milk packets delivered. Kolkata has a lot of people who appreciate a good snack, so we stay busy throughout the day. The shop doesn't have a lot of space to sit, it is mostly a come-and-go kind of place. We spend a lot of time wiping the glass cases and organizing the jars of toffees. The noise from the B T Road traffic is constant, but you get used to it after a few weeks of working here. We have some regular customers who stop by every single day on their way home from work. They usually want the same thing every time, maybe a specific biscuit or a certain sweet. It is a simple life running a confectionery in a place like Chunibabur Bazar. We just focus on keeping the stock fresh and the shop open for everyone. It is not fancy, but it works for us and our customers. We also have some cool drinks in the fridge for when the weather gets too hot.
