Jubilant Kalpataru Hospital

Jubilant Kalpataru Hospital is located at No. 78 Jessore Road. If you know this area, you know how busy the road gets with all the trucks and buses. We have been in this building for quite some time now. It’s not a brand new building, so the paint might be peeling in a few corners, but we keep the inside clean. We see a lot of people from the nearby neighborhoods coming in for all sorts of things. Sometimes it’s a broken arm from a fall or just a bad cough that won't go away. The waiting room gets pretty full on Mondays, so it’s usually better to come later in the week if you can. We have doctors who have been here since the start. They aren't the type to rush you out of the room. We don't have those fancy coffee machines or a big lobby with art. It’s just a regular hospital where we try to help folks out. My cousin works the front desk and she’s been there for ten years. Most of the people who come here are our neighbors. We deal with a lot of emergencies because of the road being so close. It can be a bit chaotic during the monsoon when the water pools up outside the entrance. We just keep doing what we do every day. It’s a lot of work but someone has to do it.
