We are over here on Ho Chi Minh Sarani, right across from where the Pantaloons is. This part of Kolkata gets quite busy during the afternoons, especially with everyone coming and going from the offices nearby. It is a nice spot though. We have been running this place for a while now, and most of us here have worked together for a long time. You will see the same faces when you walk in. The shop is set up pretty simply with the usual chairs and mirrors you would expect. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when all the dryers are going at once, but that is just how it is. We try to keep the place tidy, though hair tends to get everywhere when we are busy. We have a small area where people can sit and wait if the chairs are full. It is not fancy, but we have some old magazines and the AC works well on those hot Kolkata days. Most of our regulars live around the 700071 area or work in the buildings close by. They usually drop in for a quick trim or a wash while they are out running errands. We do not really do anything complicated here. It is just about getting people in and out so they can get back to their day. We keep the music low most of the time unless someone asks to turn it up. That is pretty much us.
