It’s a busy street, so there is always noise from the buses and autos passing by. This Jawed Habib branch has been here for a while. We have a few chairs and mirrors set up, and there’s usually hair on the floor because we stay pretty busy. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s a friendly one. The staff here are just regular people who know how to use a pair of scissors and some dye. We don't have a fancy waiting room; it’s just a couple of chairs by the door. Sometimes you have to wait a bit if we are short-handed. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can. Being on Dum Dum Road means we get all sorts of people walking in. It’s a bit of a mix. We don’t do big advertisements. The sign outside is enough for most folks to find us. We just focus on the work at hand. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going.
