Jasmine Salon

You can find Jasmine Salon over at 210/2 BT Road. We are right by the Anannya Cinema Hall, which is a big help for giving directions to new people. Being on BT Road means there is a lot of dust and noise from the buses, but we have our little space tucked away. The salon is not very large. We have a couple of stations for hair and a small area for other things like facials. It is mostly just a few of us working here every day. We know most of the people in this part of Kolkata because they have been coming to us for years. We are not into those expensive treatments you see on TV. We just do the regular stuff that people need. Sometimes we run out of a certain shampoo and have to run down the street to get more. It is that kind of place. We do not have a website or a fancy booking system. People just call us or walk in. If we are busy, we tell them to come back in an hour. It works out fine for everyone. We like the feeling of being a local shop. The lights in here are a bit bright, but it helps us see what we are doing. We keep our scissors sharp and our towels clean. That is about all there is to it. We just keep going, day after day, making sure everyone leaves looking a bit better.
