Jaiswal Supply Agency is located right in the thick of things at 225 Bidhan Sarani. If you’ve ever spent time in Burrabazar, you know exactly what the atmosphere is like around here. It is loud, crowded, and there is always someone moving a crate or a parcel past the door. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now, handling whatever supplies come through. The building is old, like most things in this part of town, and the hallways can be a bit narrow when we are busy. We don't really do much in the way of decorating; the shelves are mostly full of stock and paperwork. Mornings are usually the craziest time when the deliveries start arriving and the street outside is blocked with carts. We just try to keep things organized so we can find what people are looking for without too much fuss. It is a family-type setup here, so you’ll often see the same faces every day. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you out. Dealing with the heat in the summer is probably the hardest part of being in Burrabazar, but we have a few fans going. Jaiswal Supply Agency is just a practical place for people who need things moved or supplied. It’s what we do and we’ve been doing it at this address for years.
