Jain Trading Company

Jain Trading Company is situated on the first floor of Wing B in the Shangri-La building. You can find us at 119A Rippon Street. It is a pretty old street with a lot of history, and the building has that classic feel to it. Working on the first floor is nice because we don't have to wait for the elevator when it’s acting up, which happens more often than you’d think. Our space is mostly filled with ledgers, stacks of paper, and the general clutter that comes with trading. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on shipments all day long. The street outside is always bustling with people and carts, so there is never a quiet moment. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that hum constantly to keep the air moving. It is not a modern corporate office with glass walls, just a functional space where we do our business. Most of our day is spent dealing with suppliers and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the week. We’ve known the other people in the building for years, so it feels like a little community. Sometimes the rain leaks a bit near the window, but we just put a bucket down and keep working. It is a straightforward operation here on Rippon Street, and we like it that way. We just focus on the trade and keep things moving.
