Jain Marbles Branch

This is our branch at 320/A Kasba Market. We are right near the Ballygunge Station, so the area is always full of people coming and going from the trains. B B Chatterjee Road is quite narrow and busy. It feels very different from a big industrial park. Here, we are right in the middle of the neighborhood. The shop isn't huge, so we have to be smart about how we stack the marble. It’s a lot of shuffling pieces around to show someone a particular color. Being in Kasba means we see a lot of the same local faces. We aren't some big corporate chain with a fancy office. It’s just a local marble branch where we sit and wait for customers between deliveries. Sometimes the noise from the station and the market is quite loud, but we are used to it by now. We’ve got stacks of stone leaning against the walls and small samples scattered on the desk. It’s a bit cramped, but it’s where we work every day. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people just see us when they are walking to the station or shopping in the market. We just keep the doors open and move the stone as needed. It’s practical, everyday work in a busy part of the city. We enjoy being near the station even if the traffic on the road gets a bit crazy sometimes during the rush hour.
