Jagannath Salon

I've been running Jagannath Salon for a while now here at 113/A, East Kamalapur. It's a small place near Hmv Kamalapur in Kolkata. People from the neighborhood come by when they need a haircut or just to tidy up a bit. We don't have anything fancy going on, just the usual chairs and mirrors you'd expect at a local spot. Sometimes it gets a bit busy on weekends, so you might have to wait a little while on the bench outside or inside if there's room. My family helps out too when things get hectic. Most of our regulars have been coming for years and we know their names and how they like their hair done. It's just a simple shop where we try to do decent work every day. The Kolkata weather makes everyone want a shorter cut in the summer, so we stay pretty active then. We keep the floor swept and the tools clean, but it's a lived-in space for sure. If you're walking around the East Kamalapur area, you'll see our sign right there. It’s not hard to find if you know where the Hmv building is. We open in the morning and stay until late evening usually. No big website or anything, just us doing what we do. It’s a quiet life here at 700028. We just stay focused on the work we have in front of us and hope people get what they need before they go.
