You will find our campus on K.P. Mondal Road over in the Buita area, which is part of Budge Budge. Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital is quite a large place compared to some of the smaller clinics you see around. Because we operate as both an institute for students and a hospital for patients, there is a lot of energy here. There are always students walking around in their coats heading to class. The building is fairly modern and we have a good amount of space, but it still feels like a local hub for the community. People travel from all over Budge Budge to see us because it is a well-known spot on K.P. Mondal Road. We have separate wings for the classrooms and the hospital wards where the beds are. The main lobby is quite large, which is helpful because it gets very crowded in the early morning when everyone arrives at once. Our staff includes doctors, professors, and a lot of support workers who keep the place running. It takes a lot of effort to maintain a facility of this size. We try to keep the grounds looking decent, though with so many people coming and going, it is a never-ending job. It is a straightforward place where the focus is on teaching students and taking care of the patients who walk through the doors. There is not much flashiness here, just a lot of daily activity.
