We are over at Security House on N.S. Road, specifically in room 118 on the first floor. It is one of those old buildings in Kolkata where you have to navigate through some narrow spots to find us. Usually, there is a lot of noise coming from the street outside because N.S. Road is always busy with people and cars. Our office is a bit small but we keep it going with the desks we have. Most days we are just sitting here going through documents or answering the phone when someone calls about a property. We don't have fancy stuff here, just a lot of files and a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day. Dealing with real estate in this part of town means you see all kinds of people coming in. Some are looking for something small and others want something bigger, and we just try to see what is available on our lists. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break for a few minutes. It is a simple way of working. We have been in this spot for a while now and most of the locals know where Security House is. If you find yourself on the first floor, just look for the room number. We might be busy with a client or just sorting out some old paperwork, but that is how a typical Tuesday or Wednesday goes for us here.
