J P Basu & Associates

We’ve got our office for J P Basu & Associates at 59 Kali Charan Ghosh Road, right in Block-3, Flat No.-01. It’s a residential-style building in the Sinthee area, which makes it feel a bit more comfortable than a cold office tower. When you walk in, you’ll see shelves full of files and books because we deal with a lot of paperwork every day. Since we’re in Flat No.-01, it’s quite easy for people to find us once they get to the right block. The neighborhood is fairly typical for Sinthee, with people going about their business and the usual street sounds. We spend most of our time at our desks reading through documents or meeting with folks who need our help with their projects. It’s just a small team of us here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to making the tea. The windows look out onto the street, so we can see the weather changing throughout the day. We don’t have a flashy lobby or a receptionist; you just knock and come on in. It’s been our base of operations for a while now, and we’ve grown quite fond of the local shops and the way the light hits the room in the late afternoon. It’s a quiet place to work, which helps us stay focused on the details. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the files organized.
