Ispat Cooperative Hospital

We’ve been running Ispat Cooperative Hospital here in Sonarpur for a while now. Most folks find us easily because we’re right near Tematha Kalikapur. It is a cooperative setup, which means things work a bit differently than those big private places. We deal with all sorts of patients coming in every day from around the neighborhood. The building isn't fancy but it gets the job done for the people living nearby. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the mornings, but that is just how it is. We have different departments and beds for people who need to stay over. The staff knows many of the families around Kalikapur by name. It is just a local hospital trying to help out. You won't find flashy signs or big advertisements here. Just the name on the front and some benches for waiting. People come here because they know where we are and what we do. Dealing with health stuff is never easy, so we just try to be there when someone walks through the door near Tematha. We see a lot of local faces. It stays pretty busy most days of the week. Being in Sonarpur, we are part of the daily life for many. If you are looking for the place, just ask anyone near Tematha and they will point you toward us. We are just keeping things going for the community here, day by day, without much fuss or bother. It is what it is.
