Working on the 9th floor of the Park Center Building on Park Street gives us a pretty decent view of the city, though we usually spend more time looking at our screens than out the window. Infinity Decoratives has been tucked away in this office at number 24 for a stretch of time now. It’s a busy building, and the elevators can be a bit of a wait during the lunch hour. Our space is filled with catalogs and different decorative items that we keep around for reference. It’s not a huge place, but it fits what we need to do. Most of the day is spent talking to suppliers or trying to figure out logistics for the decorative pieces we handle. Sometimes the office gets a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once, but that’s just how it goes in a place like Park Street. We don’t really do much in the way of big meetings; it’s more about quick chats over a desk to solve whatever problem came up that morning. The commute can be a bit of a pain with the traffic in this part of town, but being central helps us stay connected to everything. We just keep moving through the daily lists, making sure orders are processed and the paperwork is filed away where it belongs. It’s steady work in a fast-paced neighborhood.
