Our shop has been around for a while, and the walls show it. We handle heavy-duty stuff, things meant for mines and big construction sites. The tools we stock are heavy and usually made of solid steel. We don't have a big display window, just a door that stays open most of the day unless it's raining hard. Inside, it smells like oil and metal. There are boxes stacked up in the back because we get a lot of inventory coming in. We don't use any fancy management software; we still write a lot of things down in ledgers. The floor is concrete and has some chips in it from where heavy things dropped over the years. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s a working shop. We like the location because everything is close by, even if the noise is a lot sometimes. It's just a regular place for folks who need real tools.
