Indian Traditions (P) Ltd.

We are located on the first floor of 11, Babar Road, which is a pretty well-known area. Indian Traditions (P) Ltd. has been operating out of this space for some years now. It’s a bit of an older building, so the elevator is a little cranky sometimes, and most of us just take the stairs. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and shelves filled with various items we deal in. We handle traditional goods, things that have a bit of history to them, which is why we picked this name. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights. Instead, it feels more like a lived-in office where people are actually working. We have a lot of files stacked up because we still like to keep paper records of everything. The tea lady comes by twice a day, and that’s when we usually take a break from the phones. Babar Road is a busy spot, so there’s always the sound of horns and people talking downstairs. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the orders are packed right and sent to the right people. It’s a small team here, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to checking the inventory. Sometimes the rain makes the windows rattle in their frames, which can be a bit distracting when you're trying to count items. But we like the character of this old place; it feels like it has stories to tell.
