You can find us at 40 Strand Road. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easier for moving things in and out. Being on Strand Road means we are right in the middle of all the chaos. It’s a busy street, always loud with horns and people shouting. Import Trade Corp has been here for a good while. The office is small and filled with papers and files piled up on the desks. We don’t have fancy furniture or a receptionist. Usually, it’s just one of us answering the phone or checking the latest shipments. It gets a bit dark inside since we are on the ground floor, but we have plenty of lights to see what we are doing. We deal with various goods coming through the port. It’s a lot of paperwork and waiting around for things to clear. Sometimes the traffic on Strand Road is so bad that it takes forever for anyone to get to us. We just sit and have our lunch while we wait for the trucks to arrive. We aren’t a big corporation despite the name. We are just a few people trying to keep the business going. We’ve known the guys in the neighboring offices for years. We all complain about the same things, like the heat or the price of tea. There’s no polish here, just work.
