We’ve been running things here at IMPEX AUTOMATION for a good while now. Our place is at 61/3, West Rabindra Nagar, right in the Dumdum Cantonment area. It’s not one of those shiny offices you see in magazines, just a practical space where we handle automation parts and systems. The morning commute around here can be a bit of a headache with the local traffic, but we usually get in early to beat the rush. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with components and a few desks where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit cluttered when a big shipment comes in, but we manage to find what we need. People in the neighborhood know us as the guys who deal with the technical stuff. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth usually does the trick around Dumdum. The building itself has seen better days, but it keeps the rain off the equipment and that’s what matters most. We spend most of our time answering calls or checking specs on different parts for local factories. It’s a steady rhythm we’ve got going. Usually, lunch is just something quick from the shop around the corner. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the machines running for whoever needs us. If you’re looking for the shop, look for the small sign near the gate. It’s a quiet enough street once you get off the main road.
