Hospital Appliances Manufacturing Co. India is located at No. 101/ B on Chitta Ranjan Avenue. We’ve been at this spot for quite a long time. This isn't a place where patients come for treatment; instead, we make the things that hospitals use. Our workshop and office space are all part of the same building on this busy Kolkata street. CR Avenue is always loud with horns and people, and that energy definitely filters into our workplace. It’s a bit of an old-school setup. We have our manufacturing area where the heavy work happens and a small office for the admin stuff. It’s dusty sometimes, and it’s definitely not a polished showroom. We focus more on making sure the appliances are sturdy and do what they are supposed to do. We don't have a team of people writing fancy slogans for us. We just make the gear and sell it to the clinics and hospitals that need it. The building has that classic Kolkata feel, with high ceilings and some wear and tear on the walls. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the decades, but we just keep doing what we’ve always done. It’s honest manufacturing work. No one here wears a suit unless they absolutely have to. We’re more comfortable around the tools and the machinery. It’s just a practical business running out of an old address on a very famous road.
