Hopewell Properties Llp is over at 33/1 N. S. Road. If you know the 700001 area, you know it is the heart of the old business district. It is very crowded and finding a parking spot is almost impossible, but this is where all the action is. Our office is right in the middle of all that history. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. We are a small team and we like it that way. Most of us grew up around here or have worked in this neighborhood for years. We spend our time managing property details and trying to keep track of the market. The real estate world in Kolkata can be very confusing with all the different laws and the way things have been done for decades. We don't try to sugarcoat things for people. If a property has a complicated legal history, we tell them. It is better to be honest than to have problems later on. We handle a lot of phone calls and spend a good chunk of our day in meetings that sometimes go on way too long. But that is just the nature of the business. We are practical people and we don't really care for the fancy corporate lifestyle. We just want to get the job done and go home to our families at the end of the day.
