We are tucked away on the 3rd floor of Plot No. 29B on Rabindra Sarani. Our specific spot is Room No. 5W. It’s an old building in a very traditional part of the city. Being up on the 3rd floor means we’re a bit removed from the noise of the street, though you can still hear the trams and the traffic if the windows are open. We’ve been operating from this office for quite a while now. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for our desks and some files. We deal with industrial supplies and manage things from here. It’s mostly office work, coordinating with suppliers and customers over the phone and through letters. We don’t have a flashy entrance or a big lobby. You just walk up the stairs and find us. The building has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the narrow hallways. We like the location because it’s central, even if the area is a bit congested. It’s just a few of us here, keeping the business running. We don't go in for anything complicated. We just focus on getting our orders right and making sure the paperwork is in order. It’s a steady kind of life, working in this part of Kolkata. We’ve seen the neighborhood change, but our routine stays pretty much the same. We just show up and do what needs to be done for our customers every single day we are open.
