Hind (Overseas) Corporation

Working out of 1, Neli Sengupta Sarani is just how it has always been for us at Hind (Overseas) Corporation. It’s a busy street and there is always something going on right outside the window. We spend most of our mornings dealing with international stuff, mostly because of the time differences and the way the overseas trade works. It is a lot of coordination and making sure the documents are all in the right folders. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks, a few old chairs, and piles of papers that seem to grow whenever we aren't looking. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to make sure the things we send out actually get to where they are going without too much trouble. Sometimes the internet acts up or the phones won't stop ringing, but that's just part of the day here. We’ve been in this spot long enough that the local tea stall guy knows exactly what we want without us asking. It’s that kind of place. We don't have a fancy lobby or someone in a suit waiting at the door. You just walk in and see us working. It is a practical way to run a business and it seems to work out okay for everyone. We handle the shipping and the overseas side of things as best as we can every single day.
