Helisert Fasteners

If you find yourself on B.B. Chatterjee Road in Kasba, you might see us at No. 107. Helisert Fasteners is a busy little spot. We deal with all kinds of fasteners, so the place is full of boxes and bins. It’s actually quite a lot to keep track of, but we manage. The road outside is always crowded with people and cars, so there’s a constant hum of traffic. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of us counting out pieces or packing up orders. We don't have a lot of space for a front office, so most of the business happens right there among the shelves. It’s a practical way to run things. We’ve had the same shelves for years and they’re stacked high. Sometimes it feels like the boxes are going to take over. We’re just a small team trying to get through the day’s list. We don't put on any acts here; we’re just people who know a lot about screws and bolts. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the filing, but the orders always get out eventually. It’s just the reality of a small business on a busy street. We like being in Kasba, even if the parking is a nightmare. It feels like we're part of the neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and keep working through the inventory, day in and day out. It’s a lot of manual work but it keeps us busy.
