Hair Art Family Salon

We run the Hair Art Family Salon over at CG 231 in Salt Lake City, Sector 2. Our place is situated right near the Union Bank, so it is a landmark people often use to find us. This isn't one of those high-end salons you see in the big malls. We are a family place, meaning we see everyone from young kids getting their first trim to elderly gentlemen who have lived in Salt Lake for decades. The space inside is comfortable enough. We have a few different stations for hair and some chairs for waiting. I try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We don't play loud music or anything like that. Usually, there is just the sound of the blow dryer or people chatting. Being in Sector 2, we get a lot of regular families from the nearby blocks. I think people like coming here because we don't put on any acts. We just do the hair work as requested. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy when we are busy, but we sweep it up as fast as we can. It’s a practical shop. We offer the usual things like haircuts and basic styling. I wanted to create a spot where a whole family could come and not feel out of place or like they were spending too much money. It’s just a normal neighborhood salon for the Salt Lake community and we like it that way.
