Grain Of Salt

We are located on the 5th floor of Block D at 22 Camac Street. It’s a tall building, so you have to take the elevator up to find us. Being in this part of town means it’s always crowded downstairs on the street. Camac Street is one of those places where something is always happening, but once you get up to the 5th floor, it’s a bit different. We’ve been here for a while now. The space isn’t huge, but we’ve arranged it so there’s enough room for people to sit comfortably. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s just a restaurant where we cook and serve. Every morning starts with checking the inventory and making sure the kitchen staff is ready. We deal with the usual stuff like plumbing issues or light bulbs going out sometimes. It's not a perfect place, but it’s ours. Most of our customers are people working in the other offices in the building or nearby blocks. They just want a break from their desks. We don't put out big ads. Usually, people just hear about us from their coworkers. We keep the windows clean so you can see out over the city, which is nice when it rains. Our days are long, and we’re usually tired by the end of it, but we’re back again the next morning. It’s a steady routine of cooking, cleaning, and talking to the regulars who come by for their daily meal.
