Down at 4/1 Justice Dwarkanath Road, things are usually pretty steady. We focus on the work at hand and don't spend much time on the fluff. The building is an older one, and it has that specific smell of wood and materials that you only get in places where things are actually made. We have some people working on designs at their desks while others are busy handling the actual items. It’s a mix of different sounds—the scratching of pencils, the movement of heavy objects, and the usual chatter between the staff. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most people who come to see us are looking for something specific and they know we’ve been here for years. The road outside can get a bit cramped with parked cars, so getting in and out takes a little patience. Inside, we try to keep things organized, but when you’re dealing with handicrafts, there’s always a bit of a mess. Scraps of material or half-finished pieces are usually lying around on the worktables. We take our time with what we do. It’s not about rushing through a list of tasks. We just want to make sure that when something leaves our doors, it’s exactly what it was supposed to be. It’s just how we operate, and we haven't found a reason to change things yet.
