Good Samaritan Hospital

Our hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, is situated at 6 Dr Biresh Guha St. We are right in the Park Circus area, which is near Ballygunge. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy and crowded it can get. The hospital is an old building that has been here for a long time. It’s not a modern, polished facility like the ones you see in the new parts of town. It’s a bit of a labyrinth inside with different corridors and stairs leading to various departments. We see hundreds of people every day. The noise from the street outside is constant, with horns and people shouting. Inside, we try to maintain some order, but it can get quite hectic. We have doctors and nurses who have spent their whole careers within these walls. We don't have a fancy website with professional photos. What you see is what you get. We handle everything from minor checkups to more complicated emergencies. The waiting rooms are usually full, and the benches are a bit worn down. We just focus on the medical work that needs to be done. We are a part of the local history of Park Circus. It’s a tough environment, but we are proud of the fact that we stay open and keep helping people year after year. We just take things one day at a time and try to help the patients who arrive at our door.
