Golden Gents Parlour

You’ll find Golden Gents Parlour at 40 Uttarayan Building, specifically in Block B. We are right on Dum Dum Road, just across from the Axis Bank ATM. It’s a basic barber shop and gents' parlour. We don't have any of those fancy modern gimmicks. It’s just good chairs, sharp scissors, and a steady hand. Men come in here for a quick cut or a shave before work. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We talk about sports, the news, or just what’s happening on the street outside. The floor usually has some hair on it because we’re busy, but we sweep it up when we can. We aren't trying to be a high-end boutique. We’re just a local spot where you can get your hair sorted out. The fans hum along and there’s usually a newspaper lying around for whoever is waiting. We’ve been in this building for a bit and we know most of the guys in the neighborhood. Some have been coming here since they were kids. It’s just a regular part of the day for us. We don't do appointments much; people just walk in and wait their turn. It’s a simple system that works. If you’re near the ATM and need a trim, come on in. We’re usually here until late. The shop has that old-school smell of shaving cream and talcum powder. It’s familiar and comfortable for everyone who stops by. We just get on with it.
