Glitter

Our shop, Glitter, is located at B G 30 in Hanapara. We are right opposite of Gitasree, which is the main landmark around here. It’s a local spot that serves the people living in this part of Kolkata. The shop itself is small and tucked away a bit. We don't have a massive team, just a couple of us who handle everything from opening the shutters to locking up at night. The shelves are usually full of different items we’ve picked out. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s more of a place where things are stacked and organized as best as we can. We spend a lot of time chatting with neighbors who stop by. Sometimes they don’t even buy anything, they just want to say hello. That’s the kind of place this is. We aren't trying to compete with the big malls. We just want to provide what the local folks need. The lighting inside could be better, but it does the job. We keep a ledger for everything and try to stay on top of the stock. It’s a simple life running a shop in Hanapara. We don't have any big slogans. We just show up, do the work, and help whoever walks through the door. It might be a little messy sometimes, but we know where everything is kept.
