Glam Enhance

We’ve been here in Majher Para for a while now. It’s right near the ICICI Bank in Keshtopur, so it’s usually quite busy outside with people running errands. The shop isn’t huge, but it’s ours. We spend most of our mornings just setting things up, wiping down the counters and making sure the chairs are ready for whoever walks in. Sometimes it gets really hot in this part of Kolkata, so we try to keep the place feeling okay for the customers. It’s a lot of work, honestly. We see a lot of the same faces every week, mostly folks who live just a few blocks away. They come in for a quick trim or just to get their hair done before an event. We don't do anything too fancy, just the stuff people actually need. There’s always some music playing in the background, usually whatever is on the radio that day. Sometimes we run out of tea and have to send someone out to the corner. It’s just how it is. We like being part of the neighborhood here. Most days are fine, some are slow, but we’re always here at the same time every morning. The mirror in the back has a little crack in the corner, but nobody seems to mind it much. We just keep going, doing what we know how to do for the people in Keshtopur. That's how it's been for years now.
