Ginni Creations

Ginni Creations is over at 14 Madan Chatterjee Lane. If you know the area, you know it’s a bit tucked away, but we’ve been here long enough that people usually find their way to us. It’s a busy little spot, and we are usually surrounded by stacks of fabric and half-finished projects. We do a lot of the creative work right here on site. It’s not always neat and tidy, but that’s just the way it goes when you’re actually making things. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make stuff. Sometimes the machines are loud and the floor is covered in thread, but it’s a productive kind of mess. Madan Chatterjee Lane has its own character, and we feel like we fit right in with the other small businesses around here. We don’t have a big fancy sign or a polished front window. People mostly come to us because they’ve heard we do honest work. We spend our days cutting, sewing, and checking that the finished pieces look the way they should. It can be a bit stressful when we have a big deadline, but we usually manage to get everything done. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation. We just want to keep making things here in our little corner of the city. It’s hard work, and the hours are long, but seeing a finished piece go out the door makes it worth it.
